The Full Scroll.

The example here shows full scroll. Scroll appears on top, while a complementary pattern continues on either side, and a fine millgrain is applied to the edges to complement the look.


Each Scroll band is individually composed for the ring.

The pattern may be worked across the top, continue down one or both sides, or travel around the full band. On stone-set rings, the scroll can also be arranged to flow toward the stone or another central feature.

The examples shown are a guide rather than fixed configurations. The coverage, depth and amount of detail can be adapted to the proportions of the ring and the character you prefer.

Make it Your Own

Each design is a starting point. Its character can be changed through the way it is engraved and the details added around it.

❦ADD A STONE

A small stone can be set into the engraving as a quiet point of colour or significance.


❦DETAIL THE SIDES

Engraving can continue over the shoulders of the band, adding detail beyond the main pattern.


❦ADD A BORDER

A fine engraved or milgrain border can give the design a more defined, traditional edge.


❦LEAVE THE EDGES OPEN

Without a border, the engraving can sit more freely across the surface of the band.
