For jewellery, wedding bands and heirloom pieces — carefully hand engraved, restored and created from my Adelaide workshop.

How Can I Help?

Located within Adelaide’s historic

Epworth Building

Traditional hand engraving sits alongside independent jewellery making, repairs and restoration.

EMT Engraving works from The Makers Workshop, with each craft remaining in the hands of its own specialist.

Behind The Workshop

Every line is cut individually by hand beneath the microscope.

From a few letters hidden inside a ring to ornament carried across an entire piece, hand engraving can be quiet and personal or become part of the jewellery's design itself.

I work with both private clients and jewellers, on pieces newly made, already worn, and carried for generations.

Much of My Work is
One-of-a-Kind

Whether you're considering an inscription, restoring a family heirloom, or creating a commissioned piece, I’d be pleased to hear about your project.

❦Inscriptions

Words Worth Keeping

An inscription can mark a promise, honour a memory, celebrate a milestone, or turn a piece of jewellery into a deeply personal gift.

The Inscription Library gathers historical phrases, mottos, blessings and other words suited to engraving.

Browse for inspiration or bring words of your own if something personal already holds meaning for you.

❦From The Archive

The Archive is an ongoing collection of original engraved studies. Each piece explores a symbol, an idea, or an observation, and becomes part of a growing record of the work.

Some pieces are available to collect. Others are retained as reference works and may become he foundation for new, individually commissioned pieces.

By Ways Unknown

An original study built around navigation, uncertainty and the idea of continuing without knowing exactly where the way will lead.
